Product Description :
Basagran is a post-emergence selective herbicide containing Bentazone 48% SL. It is designed to control broadleaf weeds and certain sedges in standing crops. The product works as a contact herbicide by blocking photosynthesis in weed leaf tissue. Since it acts only on the plant parts where the spray contacts, it provides rapid burn-down of young weeds without affecting recommended crops when used at the proper dose. Basagran is most effective when applied at the 2–4 leaf stage of weeds.

Mode of Action:

Recommended Crops:
Paddy, Soybean, Groundnut, Maize, Potato, Peas, Beans

• Partial control of Cyperus rotundus
(Not effective against grassy weeds)

Dosage:
700–800 ml per acre
2 ml per litre of water
Apply when weeds are at 2–4 leaf stage for best results
