Product Description :
CHEMPA is a selective herbicide containing Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl 70% WDG, specially formulated for effective weed management in paddy fields. It provides broad-spectrum control of grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds in both transplanted and direct-seeded rice. The product works effectively when applied at pre- or early post-emergence stages, ensuring healthy crop establishment and reduced weed competition.

Mode of Action:
CHEMPA inhibits the ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) enzyme responsible for the synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids such as valine, leucine, and isoleucine. This results in the stoppage of weed shoot growth and eventually leads to weed death.

Recommended Crops:
Paddy (Rice) – Suitable for transplanted and direct-seeded rice

Target Weeds:
• Cyperus rotundus (Purple nut sedge)
• Monochoria vaginalis
• Ludwigia parviflora
• Echinochloa species
• Other grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds

Dosage:
Approximately 12 g per acre of 70% WDG formulation
