Product Description :
SUNRICE is a selective post-emergence herbicide containing Ethoxysulfuron 15% WDG, specially designed for weed management in rice fields. It provides excellent control of sedges and broadleaf weeds in both transplanted and direct-seeded paddy. The product is highly safe to rice when applied at the recommended dosage and is most effective when weeds are in the early growth stage.

Mode of Action:
SUNRICE is absorbed through the leaves of weeds and translocated throughout the plant. It inhibits amino acid synthesis, which stops weed growth and leads to gradual drying and death. The formulation ensures strong weed control while remaining safe to the rice crop.

Recommended Crops:
Paddy (Rice) – Suitable for transplanted and direct-seeded rice

Target Weeds:
• Cyperus difformis (Small nut sedge)
• Cyperus iria
• Eclipta alba
• Fimbristylis miliacea
• Monochoria vaginalis
• Other broadleaf weeds and sedges
(Not effective against major grassy weeds)

Dosage:
80–100 g per acre
1–1.5 g per litre of water
Apply when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage
